Endorsements of Rudolph Valentino
During his lifetime Valentino endorsed several items, mostly because his finances were in poor shape. Below is a list of the official (and one unofficial) ones
*Rudolph Valentino Cigars
*Minervala Beauty Clay
During his one man strike George Ullman (who worked with Minervala) proposed that Valentino endorse the beauty clay saying it made his wife, Natacha Rambova's, skin look good. Valentino agreed as long as the clay wasn't associate with him using it (he didn't need more fodder against him). Ullman agreed, but a few unscrupulous advertisers decided to say Valentino himself used it.
Valentino went on a dancing tour through 1923 in promotion of the company. He and Natacha legally remarried during the tour.
*Sheik Condoms
Not something Valentino officially endorsed, but his silhouette dressed as the Sheik graced these tins for decades.
